Gerald has been married for 32 years and has two adult children. His daughter graduated from University of Michigan in 2003, and his son from Eastern Michigan University in 2008. Gerald feels that, after nearly ten years of the same administration in Pittsfield Township, it is now time to open the doors to the decision-making process, and to make it both transparent and responsive to the people. It is time to encourage open discussions at meetings and to listen with open ears rather than predisposed mind sets.
